Hi everyone,
I read this beautiful quote today and I just wanted to share it.
'God has identified himself with the hungry, the sick, the naked,
the homeless;
hunger, not only for bread,
but for love, for care, to be somebody to someone:
nakedness, not of clothing only,
but nakedness of that compassion
that very few people give to the unknown;
homelessness, not only just from a shelter made of stone,
but that homelessness that comes from from having
no one to call your own'.
~ Mother Theresa ~
I've always had a lot of love and respect for Mother Theresa.
No I am not a Catholic, just a follower of Christ.
I loved her heart, her living faith and wondrous compassion and mercy.
She still continues to inspire me. Anyone does with a heart like that.
I felt she gave people a precious gift. When she would touch them physically, even lepers,
they felt loved and in that moment she gave them back their dignity.
~ Amen ~

...Yes, I love her too. Her heart was truly so beautiful, she really had it right didn't she?
What a beautiful entry. ~Amelia
Thank you Amelia, sometimes God just so impresses my heart with something I really feel to share it. Even if no one comments, maybe someone will stop by and read it and in that way it will still be a blessing to them. You encouraged me so much today by your kind words :) ~ Blessings -Linda
